Locksmith

Valdemar Lützen's locksmith service has proved to be the fastest-growing product group in the company's history. We started working purposefully on locksmith services in 2003, and it has grown so much that today we have five locksmiths in our strong lock team, the leading one in the Faroe Islands.
Today four Valdemar Lützen locksmith vans drive all over the country.

We started with ordinary locks and master key systems. Then we moved on to electronic locks, which are increasingly common today. With an electronic lock a door can be opened with a card or a key fob, and you can have them cancelled if you lose them, or if they need to be cancelled for another reason.

We copy more than 20,000 keys a year, both ordinary keys and system keys. That is no small number when you consider that there are fewer than 50,000 people in the Faroe Islands. Our range of locks includes cylinders, lock cases, keys, padlocks and door closers.

Our locksmiths drive all over the Faroe Islands and handle almost every kind of lock job. We have a large, secure lock workshop at Skálatrøð. The rules for this workshop are that it is always locked, and the room, which is 50 square metres, has no windows.
